KC man indicted in $3.3M investment fraud case

A Kansas city man has been indicted in a 14-count, $3.3 million fraud scheme case.

John Williams, 65, allegedly convinced a victim to invest more than $8.6 million into companies he formed, Energy Operations and American Hydraulic Power LLC.

Williams is accused of using $3.3 million of the funding for his own personal use between 2005 and 2014.
