Kansas City-based Wendt Law Firm PC secured a $5 million settlement on behalf of its client in a sexual assault case.
The client alleged in litigation that she was sexually assaulted in her home by an appliance delivery man from Appliance Warehouse of America.
Wendt Law Firm officials argued that the company should have been aware of the history of domestic violence and assault from alleged assailant Anthony Rivers.
