KC hospital names new CEO

Posted online
One of the Kansas City area’s largest hospitals named a new CEO Tuesday morning.

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City selected Jani Johnson as its top executive. The move comes as Saint Luke’s Health System appointed former hospital CEO Julie Quirin to its executive team.

Johnson had been the president and CEO of Saint Luke’s South Hospital since 2012. Quirin was named senior vice president of hospital operations for Saint Luke’s – a new position for the health system.

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is ranked No. 2 on the Kansas City Business Journal’s list of top area acute-care general hospitals by revenue with $1.9 billion in 2013 and No. 4 by admissions with over 18,600 in 2013.
