Microsoft is expanding its work with the Kansas City-based Think Big Accelerator that helps newly formed technology companies, according to the
Kansas City Star.
The second partnership for the pair – who already work together on Microsoft's BizSpark program – the Ventures program expands startups’ existing access to Microsoft mentors and resources.
The partnership is one of only a handful in the United States. Microsoft Ventures currently works with start-ups and entrepreneurs through business accelerators in Seattle, Paris, Tel Aviv, Bejing and Bangalore, India, and is expanding to Berlin, Moscow and Rio de Janeiro.
