Demand for area tech talent continues to grow as the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City plans to hire a few hundred information technology professionals in coming years.
During the next three years, the bank plans to hire up to 200, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
"The Kansas City Fed has a long-standing culture of promoting innovation and excellence," Brian Faros, the bank's chief information officer, said in a release. "With more than 400 technology professionals currently on staff, we're excited about this opportunity to further expand our responsibilities for providing technology support and innovative solutions for the central bank."
