Kansas City distillery J. Rieger & Co. donated 400,000 face masks to the city.
The city of Kansas City plans to supply the masks to hospitals, government offices, schools and other places of need.
The distillery earlier this summer donated hand sanitizer it manufactured to the Jackson County Election Board. The donation provided enough supply for all of the board's 150 polling stations for the primary and general elections.
