Kansas City developer Maximillian D. Howell, 44, has been sentenced to 21 months in prison for bank fraud and money laundering.
Howell was found guilty of defrauding a financial institution by presenting false and fraudulent draw requests for reimbursement of his development projects.
Howell has been ordered to pay $230,000 in restitution and forfeit $88,000.
