Kansas City-based Genesys Industrial Corp. filed a lawsuit against its chief financial officer, his ex-wife and the company's director of accounting.
The company that does business as Genesys Systems Integrator is alleging a check-tampering scheme where individuals processed company checks without permission. The funds allegedly were used for personal expenses.
Genesys engineers, designs and fabricates automated production systems, and it produces around $52 million in annual revenue.
