KC casino to get new name, $61M in renovations

Rhode Island-based Twin River Worldwide Holdings Inc. is planning to rebrand the Isle of Capri Casino in Kansas City and renovate it to the tune of $61 million.

The new name will be Casino KC. Renovations call for exterior upgrades, a new restaurant and an amphitheater, among other features.

Officials with Twin River Worldwide Holdings said the plans would "substantially reposition the casino."
