KC-area public company enters sale deal

Olathe, Kansas-based custom electronics manufacturer Torotel Inc. (OTC: TTLO) entered into a deal to be purchased for $48 million in cash by Standex International Corp.

The Kansas City Business Journal reports Torotel is one of the last over-the-counter stocks in the area.

The 1956-founded Torotel makes electro-mechanical assemblies and other parts for aviation and other industries.
