Thermo Fisher (NYSE: TMO) is expanding its plant in Lenexa, Kansas, after securing a federal COVID-19 contract.
The company plans to add a $40 million facility at its Lenexa site for production of viral transport media.
The expansion is expected to bring 300 new full-time jobs to the Kansas City area.
