Kansas City-area payday lender Dell Kimball was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for a bankruptcy fraud scheme.
Kimball, of Mission Hills, Kansas, pleaded guilty earlier this year. He was accused of hiding assets, bank accounts and third-party claims during bankruptcy proceedings.
Kimball also was ordered to pay $909,323 in restitution.
