KC-area medical firm closes $12M financing round

A Kansas City-area medical device company closed on a $12 million financing round.

Prairie Village, Kansas-based Artio Medical Inc. has raised $46 million to date.

The company's Amplifi Vein Dilation System is designed for renal disease patients who need hemodialysis treatment.
