Kauffman Performing Arts CEO to chair NEA

The CEO of Kansas City’s Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts is inline to become the next leader of the National Endowment for the Arts.

Jane Chu was confirmed by the U.S. Senate for the position of chairwoman, but until she is appointed next week, she will continue to serve as CEO of the Kauffman Center.

Chu has led the performing arts center since 2006, when she managed a capital campaign that raised $413 million to build the facility.
