Kasich, last Republican Trump rival, quits race

Ohio Gov. John Kasich dropped out of the presidential race, effectively handing Donald Trump the Republican nomination.

During his campaign, Kasich only won his home state.

Trump's campaign has floated Kasich's name as a possible vice presidential pick. However, Kasich has denied he would accept it.
