Illinois-based Karmak Inc., which has a location in Springfield, has launched a new line of software products for the heavy-duty truck industry.
According to an announcement from the company, the new ProfitMaster software series was created in response to customer needs. Karmak introduced the ProfitMaster sales management module in April at the annual American Truck Dealers Convention in Las Vegas.
The ProfitMaster development team, which has members who specialize in product architecture, database administration, Visual Basic programming and systems configuration and installation, used advanced tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Crystal Reports in the creation of the new software.
Karmak is a provider of computer business systems to companies that sell, service, lease or repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers and parts.
