Overland Park, Kansas-based private equity firm VantEdge Partners LP joined a group that purchased the Hawaiian arm of Kona Brewing Co. for undisclosed terms.
Kona Brewing’s Hawaiian assets were spun out of an acquisition deal for its parent company, Craft Brew Alliance, by Anheuser-Busch.
VantEdge teamed up with a firm that includes Dave Peacock, chief operating officer for St. Louis-based Schnuck Markets.
