Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas has received a $500,000 federal grant.
The Pittsburg-based organization plans to use the funding to increase the number of cancer screenings it performs.
“We’ll have people where all they will be doing for a living is cancer screening,” said Krista Postai, the nonprofit's CEO.
