Kansas governor announces mask mandate for state workers

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly announced a mask mandate for state workers and buildings.

Kelly's order covers nearly 39,000 government workers. It takes effect Monday.

“I'm as frustrated as any other vaccinated Kansan,” Kelly said. “I feel like I did my part and one of the rewards of that was not having to wear a mask, but that option has been taken away.”
