Project description: Kansas Expressway corridor is being extended south from Plainview Road by 4,400 linear feet, and Farm Road 190 is getting an extension of 1,875 linear feet. The work includes excavation, rock blasting, storm drainage, sanitary sewer extensions, concrete and asphalt paving, striping, lighting and signage. The project will add a two-lane roadway with turning lanes, stormwater management upgrades and the addition of pedestrian and bicycle paths. Transportation engineer is Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co. Inc. (Springdale, Arkansas).
