Kansas City Zoo starts construction on $75M aquarium

The Kansas City Zoo has launched a $75 million aquarium construction project.

The development is the single-largest project in the zoo's 112-year history.

Slated to open in mid-2023, the aquarium would have 35 exhibits in a 60,000-square-foot building.
