Kansas City Public Schools faces complaints from union

Service Employees International Union Local 1 has filed seven class-action complaints against Kansas City Public Schools.

The union, which represents maintenance, custodial and cafeteria workers at KCPS, alleges the district has not delivered all raises laid out in the latest labor contract and that workers were disciplined for using leave they're entitled to.

A KCPS spokesperson declined to comment.
