Kansas City officials last week unveiled its new brand, a logo that replaces an insignia in use for more than 20 years.
The new logo, an intertwined K and C, replaces a fountain shaped like a heart, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
The new mark is open source, meaning any individual or business can use it.
