An Elkhart, Kansas, bank has failed.
Banking regulators closed Heartland Tri-State Bank on July 28. It's the fourth bank in the nation to fail this year.
Syracuse, Kansas-based Dream First Bank is assuming all of Tri-State's deposits and most of its assets.
