Sen. Kamala Harris dropped out of the Democratic presidential race, citing a lack of funds.
“My campaign for president simply doesn’t have the financial resources we need to continue,” Harris wrote to supporters in an email on Tuesday.
Harris reportedly began in the top tier of candidates but has fallen out of favor after months of low poll numbers and staff upheaval, including layoffs.
