Oakland, California-based managed care consortium Kaiser Permanente has suspended more than 2,200 employees for ignoring the company's COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
The workers are on unpaid administrative leave, according to media reports.
Company officials said this week employees will have until Dec. 1 to get the vaccine or face losing their jobs.
