The U.S. Justice Department is reviewing policies on prosecuting corporate white-collar crimes.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein yesterday said changes may be may “in the near future."
Rosenstein said the department if reviewing the Yates Memo, which his predecessor Sally Yates issued in 2015. It recommends prosecutors focus on individuals who are accountable in corporate crimes.
“It is under review, and I anticipate that there may be some changes to the policy on corporate prosecutions,” Rosenstein said, without going into specifics.
