Justice Department closes Deutsche Bank investigation

Deutsche Bank officials said yesterday the U.S. Justice Department has stopped probing the company over possible currency manipulation.

The German bank - the Trump Organization's largest creditor - was notified in February of the closure of the investigation. Bank officials made the notice from the U.S. government public on Monday.

The Justice Department would not comment on its decision to close the investigation. Deutsche Bank did not return an email seeking comment.
