A Los Angeles jury awarded $417 million to a woman who claims her ovarian cancer is linked to the talc in Johnson & Johnson baby powder.
The award for Eva Echeverria includes $347 million in punitive damages against Johnson & Johnson.
In May, a separate jury awarded $110.5 million to a Virginia woman who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012. Three other juries in St. Louis reached similar verdicts, awarding $300 million to the plaintiffs.
