A small business consulting specialist, Robert C. Smith (aka Jungle Bob) is the featured speaker at this year's marketing training seminar during the Small Business Administration's Small Business Week.
Smith will conduct the seminar June 3 at the University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center. Registration for the seminar will begin at 8 a.m. NationsBank is co-sponsoring the event with KOLR-10, KGBX and Southwest Missouri State University. NationsBank chose to get involved with this seminar because of its position as the No. 1 small-business lender in the country, said Jay Titus, of NationsBank.
"We wanted to be associated with this event because it ties in very well with what we do every day," Titus said.
Smith has been a consultant for small- and medium-size businesses for 15 years, Titus said.
"He is well-known for his nontraditional approach to marketing," Titus said.
The name of this year's marketing event is Jungle Safari Marketing Training Seminar. For information about registering, please call 836-5685.[[In-content Ad]]
