Julian Assange arrested

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was arrested in London Thursday outside the Ecuadorian embassy.

Assange now faces extradition to the United States, where officials want to send him to prison for up to five years.

Assange, who's been in asylum for seven years, is accused by the U.S. of “conspiracy to commit computer intrusion" by assisting in the infiltration of Pentagon computers and downloaded materials.
