Project description: Envisioned to expand Missouri State University’s arts offerings, the Judith Enyeart Reynolds Performing Arts Complex includes a new building that will include a lobby and reception area, black box theater and performance teaching studios, project officials say. Additionally, the adjoining Craig Hall building is slated to receive a new scene shop addition and partial renovations on the first and second floors. The site along Grand Street will be upgraded to include new sidewalks, pavers and landscaping. The $31.2 million in construction expenses is part of a $35 million total project budget, according to MSU officials. The architect is Dake Wells Architecture Inc., and the landscape architect is Ecological Design Group LLC (Rogers, Arkansas). Engineers are RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, civil; Crawford, Murphy & Tilly Inc., structural; McClure Engineering Co. (St Louis), mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Terracon Consultants Inc., geotechnical.
