Judges select 2014 class of 40 Under 40

An independent panel of judges has chosen 40 up-and-coming professionals as this year’s Springfield Business Journal class of 40 Under 40.

Since the inaugural class of 1999, the 40 Under 40 awards continue to honor individuals based on their professional and community accomplishments.

The honorees were chosen by an independent panel of judges comprising past 40 Under 40 honorees Trevor Crist, CEO of Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance, class of 2012; Paul Ebisch, president of Assemblies of God Credit Union, class of 2009; Josh Hartman, client adviser for Arvest Asset Management, class of 2010; Jessica Hickok, executive of the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors, class of 2011; and Adrienne McCoy, marketing supervisor for Abacus CPAs LLC, class of 2013.

The 2014 class of 40 Under 40 will be celebrated during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony March 6 at Ramada Plaza Hotel & Oasis Convention Center, 2546 N. Glenstone Ave. Tickets are $30 apiece and can be purchased at SBJ.net/4040.

SBJ has partnered with Rogersville-based nonprofit Equi-Librium Therapy Center Inc. for the 40 Under 40 event in an effort to raise awareness and money for the center. Previously operating as Therapeutic Riding of the Ozarks, the center uses the natural movement of horses for outpatient occupational, physical and speech therapies.
