Judges choose second annual Business Class honorees

Posted online
An independent panel of judges has chosen the second annual group of 10 companies for Business Class, awards presented by UMB Bank, BKD LLP, Lathrop & Gage LLP and media sponsor Springfield Business Journal.

Business Class is designed to honor companies for achievement in financial performance, innovation and community involvement. Participating companies must operate their headquarters within SBJ’s coverage area, have completed three years in business and report gross annual revenues of at least $3 million.

The 10 companies chosen based on scored applications, in alphabetical order:
  • Citizens Memorial Healthcare;
  • CNH Reman LLC;
  • Hamra Enterprises;
  • Jack Henry & Associates Inc;
  • Lucas Oil Speedway;
  • National Enzyme Co. Inc.;
  • O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC;
  • Penmac Staffing Services Inc.;
  • Prime Inc.; and
  • Rick’s Automotive Inc.
Representatives of the top five companies – to be announced during a June 28 luncheon – will be invited to a leadership retreat in California wine country. Tickets to the awards program, which begins at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Springs Country Club, 5400 S. Highland Springs Blvd., are available for $35 apiece at SBJ.net.[[In-content Ad]]
