Last edited 4:09 p.m., June 3, 2013Honoring excellence in business and impact on the community, Foster Hospitality Group LLC founder Bill Foster will receive Lifetime Achievement in Business honors during the 13th annual Springfield Business Journal Economic Impact Awards.
Chosen by an independent panel of judges, the award is one of several that will be presented at the annual Economic Impact Awards banquet, scheduled July 18 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel & Oasis Convention Center, 2546 N. Glenstone Ave.
Silvery Dollar City Attractions will receive Philanthropic Business of the Year honors and the Missouri State University Small Business and Technology Development Center will be recognized as the Business Advocate of the Year.
Economic Impact honors also will be announced in three categories based on years in business. Finalists, in alphabetical order, are:
- Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Services Inc., Phoenix Home Care Inc., Q & Co. LLC and QR Pro, in the one to five years in business category;
- Arvest Bank, Colvin Jones Davis LLC, H Design Group LLC and Mama Jean’s Natural Foods Market LLC for the six to 29 years in business category; and
- CoxHealth, Guaranty Bank, Jack Henry & Associates Inc. and Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Co. for 30 or more years in business.
The Economic Impact Awards banquet begins at 5:30 p.m. July 18.
