Judge sides with Apple over feds in New York

A federal magistrate-judge in New York City has ruled that the U.S. government can't force Apple to hack an iPhone to investigate a drug dealer.

The ruling marks a win for Apple, which faces pressure by federal law enforcement agents to help break into at least 13 iPhones across the country.

The most well-known case is still being argued. The FBI is pushing for Apple to hack an iPhone belonging to one of the San Bernardino, Calif., shooters.
