A federal judge ruled in favor of H&R Block's lawsuit against Block Inc., which formerly was called Square Inc.
The judge's order bans the company from using Block Inc., Block or close variants like Blocks in its tax preparation app.
In addition to Square, Block Inc. owns the Cash App brand.
