Former KMOV meteorologist Meghan Danahey has won an $826,000 ruling in a discrimination case filed against the St. Louis TV station.
Danahey argued in the lawsuit that her former employer allegedly triggered anxiety and depression and harmed her job prospects.
The lawsuit alleges Danahey was essentially demoted through schedule changes under a new news director hired in 2016. Danahey worked at KMOV for about six years starting in 2014.
