A federal judge yesterday ruled California cannot require a cancer warning on the product label of Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide.
The decision comes despite the fact that nearly $200 million has been awarded to cancer victims who used the weed killer.
U.S. District Judge William Shubb said the state cannot require label changes on products unless it's "purely factual and noncontroversial."
