A federal judge ordered that a receiver take over facilities owned by a St. Joseph pesticide manufacturing company.
The Environmental Protection Agency announced a receiver was appointed for facilities owned by HPI Products Inc., St. Joe Properties LLC and William Garvey.
The companies and Garvey have been accused for years of failing to comply with environmental laws regarding hazardous waste.
