President-elect Joe Biden today is expected to introduce Judge Merrick Garland as his pick for attorney general.
Garland, a federal appeals judge, previously was a nominee from President Barack Obama for the U.S. Supreme Court.
Garland held senior positions at the Justice Department decades ago, including as a supervisor of the prosecution of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, The Associated Press reports.
