Project description: Originally built in 2006, Buchanan County’s juvenile justice center has outgrown its original footprint. The newly expanded facility is designed to house up to 24 juveniles at a time with space for treatment, health care, education and staff support, project officials say. The project will include 11,980 square feet of new construction and 5,000 feet of renovated space.
