Judge extends court order blocking Trump travel ban

U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson on Wednesday indefinitely extended an order blocking President Donald Trump's travel ban to the United States from six predominantly Muslim countries.

The federal judge in Hawaii converted a temporary restraining order into a preliminary injunction in a lawsuit brought by his state against the travel ban.

The suit claims the ban is unconstitutional religious discrimination.
