A federal judge yesterday blocked a Trump administration asylum policy.
The ruling found the Department of Homeland Security is overstepping its legal authority by forcing Central American asylum-seekers to wait in Mexico while U.S. officials examine their cases.
The plaintiffs in the case, 11 migrants from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, are now allowed to enter the U.S. this week.
