Judge approves $415M settlement in suit against Apple, Google

A federal judge has approved a $415 million settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit alleging Apple, Google, Intel and two other Silicon Valley companies illegally conspired to prevent them from getting better job offers.

According to The Associated Press, over 64,000 technology workers are slated to receive $5,800 apiece.

U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh last year rejected a $324.5 million settlement offer, saying it was inadequate.
