JQH, Jim Brickman mark fifth anniversary of partnership

John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts and concert pianist Jim Brickman are marking their fifth year of collaboration with two fourth-quarter tours.

Springfield-based JQH Hotels serves as the hotel sponsor for Brickman's concert tours. The Grammy-nominated artist will play shows at more than 40 North American cities this year as part of The Love Tour and The Magic of Christmas, his annual holiday tour, according to a news release.

During the tours, Brickman and crew are scheduled to stay at the following JQH properties:

• Ramada Reno Hotel and Casino in Nevada;
• Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel, Golf Club and Convention Center in Florida.;
• Embassy Suites Greensboro Airport Hotel and Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel in North Carolina;
• Bloomington – Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Illinois;
• Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center in Oklahoma;
• Embassy Suites Hotel Des Moines Downtown in Iowa;
• Embassy Suites DFW Airport North Outdoor World in Dallas/Grapevine, Texas;
• Embassy Suites Albuquerque - Hotel & Spa in New Mexico.;
• Hilton Fort Collins in Colorado;
• Capitol Plaza Hotel - Topeka in Kansas; and
• Embassy Suites Kansas City International Airport in Kansas City, Mo.

The Love Tour starts today, and The Magic of Christmas concert schedule begins Nov. 22, the release said.
