Springfield-based John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts has signed its fourth sponsorship for concert pianist Jim Brickman's annual holiday tour.
For the 17th tour, which starts in November and is dubbed On a Winter's Night, Brickman will perform in more than 40 North American cities. In nine cities, the Grammy-nominated pianist/songwriter and his crew will lodge at JQH Hotels properties. Radio, online, in-market and on-premise advertising also will feature Brickman and JQH Hotels, according to a news release.
“Jim’s fans can’t wait for him to come to a city near them, some even traveling great distances to see their favorite musician perform live. We can help make that experience even more special with an exceptional hotel stay," said Phill Burgess, vice president of sales and revenue management for JQH Hotels, in the release.
During the tour, Brickman and his crew are scheduled to stay in JQH hotels in Dallas and Houston, Texas; Tucson, Ariz.; Portland, Ore.; North Charleston, S.C.; Huntsville, Ala.; Oklahoma City; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Sioux Falls, S.D.
Brickman's On a Winter's Night tour will feature music from Brickman's latest album, "Believe," as well as classic and contemporary holiday music, the release said.
