John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts has added two vice presidents to its executive team, according to a Dec. 16 news release.
The development company has hired Phill Burgess as vice president of sales and revenue management and Rod Dornbusch as vice president of capital planning and asset management.
"Phill and Rod are collaborative innovators with proven track records for delivering optimum results,” Jacquie Dowdy, JQH CEO, said in the release.
Burgess has worked for the last 10 years as executive director of Bloomington, Ind.-based Christian publishing company CrossBooks Publishing.
As JQH vice president of sales and revenue management, Burgess is responsible for creating and managing the company's hotel portfolio marketing strategy, evaluating individual hotels and promotion.
Dornbusch served 16 years as vice president and project director for Marriott International and worked the past five years as executive director of Nashville, Tenn.-based hospitality and entertainment company Gaylord Entertainment.
As JQH vice president of capital planning and asset management, he oversees capital projects, design, energy conservation and consumption and facilities management.
Both Burgess and Dornbusch will report to Joe Morrissey, senior vice president of operations.[[In-content Ad]]
