Kansas City-based JE Dunn Construction Co. is the construction management firm for the $67 million JQH Arena on the Missouri State University campus. Minneapolis-based Ellerbe Becket is leading the design team for the 214,000-square-foot arena. Springfield-based Pellham Phillips is the architect and the interior designer for the project. Engineers are Martin & Martin, structural; Ross & Baruzzini Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Scott Consulting Engineers PC, civil. JQH Arena will have more than 11,000 seats for basketball fans and concert patrons. The facility is slated to open in November 2008, in time for MSU’s 2008–09 basketball season.
