JPMorgan Chase & Co. reported higher-than-expected earnings in the fourth quarter.
Adjusted earnings per share were $1.76, beating analysts' expectations of $1.69. Revenue of $25.45 billion also beat the $22.15 billion analysts were anticipating.
During the quarter, the bank took a $2.4 billion one-time charge related to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
